ABOUT THE PROJECT

"You Only Live Once" is a docudrama about the life of the most famous Brazilian playboy Jorginho Guinle. The movie mixed interviews, historical footage and ficcional scenes played in the most iconic buildings of Rio de Janeiro. The challenge of the editing was to mix documentary footage with played scenes not to look like simple TV documentaries. It was a difficult calculation of how long a scene could go without an interference of a voice over or how to converge these pieces together as only one solid narrative structure.
