I love to tell a story, and I've been doing that over the past 14 years, creating narratives from countless hours of raw footage for television, social media and documentary movies. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I've started my career working as editor for GNT and other TV channels from Grupo Globo, the largest broadcast company of Latin America and one of the largest in the world. With them I've worked for 12 years, editing documentary movies in parallel.

 

Since 2017 I started directing, producing and editing social media videos for: the giant mobile companies TIM (Telecom Italia) and Vivo (subsidiary of the Spanish Telefónica); Rio2C, the largest creative event of Latin America; Crowdfunding projects; YouTube channels and the craft brewery Pontal. In 2019 I have moved to Berlin and started to focus mainly on videography and social media, having shot and edit films for Quartier Heidestrasse, a part of the huge Europacity Conglomerate, a fashion film for the designer Yevheniia Luchko and Oiia.Art and an advertisement for CookEvent.   

 

I started in this field because I was in love with movies and fiction, but working with this huge puzzle of shooting content, b-rolls, music, sound effects plus constructing a narrative through interviews was a way more powerful thing.  Reality can be far more driving than fiction.
